Sweet Nothing (aka Combat Rock) Shooting People Film of the Month
Remember the short film from earlier this year, Combat Rock? It’s now entitled Sweet Nothing and there’s a lot of news about it…
First of all, under the title Combat Rock, it’s been selected as a finalist for Shooting People film of the month! You can check out a cut of the film (not the final edit) by visiting the Shooting People website.
Additionally, and even more exciting, the filmmakers who created Sweet Nothing are finalists for the Ultimate Filmmaker Competition.
The short film was actually an offshoot of a feature length screenplay entitled The Skylark. It’s a very personal project for the Hamilton brothers (Keith and Blake) and that intimacy shows through in their interview online.
The winner of the competition receives a $500,000 budget to produce their screenplay, so it’s definitely a great opportunity for Keith and Blake. Check out their interview, vote for them in the competition, and then follow them on Twitter and their blog to see what happens next!
