the game of life
i am amazing when it comes to the game of Life. i’m not joking. i am. i never lose. we played twice today at my dad’s house and i won both times, the first time with $1,865,000 and the second time with $1,600,000. the secret is getting the job of the teacher, the $90,000 salary, and then picking a second career as a summer job. too bad this doesn’t work in real Life, huh?
in other news, i rented the DVD of the Bourne Supremacy to further investigate the mystery of Bourne’s home town. well, they didn’t even discuss it#–except to say that a lot of the scene was Joan Allen’s idea. i’m not really sure what that means. i can’t link Joan Allen to Nixa, Missouri. well, actually, maybe i can…let’s see…Joan Allen was an early member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, originating roles in a lot of Lanford Wilson’s plays (including Burn This, one of my favorite plays). Lanford Wilson is from Lebanon Missouri and would know about Nixa. This seems a stretch though, doesn’t it?
How about this one…Frank Marshall (exec producer of Bourne Supremacy) was location manager and exec producer on Paper Moon, which filmed in Missorui, and also worked a great deal with Steven Spielberg (married to Kate Capshaw, from Missouri). So maybe MARSHALL is the link…hmm…
someday, i will know the answer…

I think that since Matt Damon is best buddies with Brad Pitt and Pitt’s parent slive in Nixa, that Joanie probably came up with it to dig on the “golden boy”.

I didn’t know his family lives in Nixa. Hmm…my mom still lives there, and so does my stepfather#–maybe they all get together and watch movies together incognito. The only reason I want to know is because i have SO many people ask about it now#–and because now there is a rumour floating around Nixa that I had something to do with it. Well, until I find out, this will be my last post about it…nuff said on the subject.
