An End to a Miserable Week
This was a really trying week. I can’t even begin to explain. Here are some images of Queens from the last few days sans electricity (and with a lot of fires, confusion, paranoia, and uncomfortable and irritable people).
And here are photos from just today, on just my block.
I would have taken more (and better) photos, but I didn’t have anything but my cameraphone to take them with (my camera needed charging, and, well… clearly that wasn’t going to happen).
It’s after midnight on Sunday… that marks exactly one week since the power problems began here in my neighborhood. Nice.

I’m proud of you man. You are a true soldier…some don’t need the training…I really miss you. Would love to get you out here sometime sooner than later…or maybe we could coincide a Missouri visit…but there are several that would love to see YOU out here, too!

Phoenix has been having power outage problems. I’m so glad my neighborhood has not been affected. I can’t imagine not having power in 115 degree heat.
