Showbusiness Weekly - Stolen Photos!
Yes, that is a headshot of mine in the left-hand portion of this scan. A friend called me the other day to ask why it was on the cover of Show Business Weekly (a publication for actors). I’m not sure! I guess because the paper doesn’t want to pay licensing rights, so they just stole the image off of Flickr (the only place it exists, as I don’t use this as my headshot).
Do a quick Flickr search for "headshot" and you will find every shot in the image.
It’s like "Where’s Waldo," except exploiting an actor’s image without his permission!

Surely they knew they should ask someone before they put them on the cover. Are there laws against this or is it like the enquirer using your image?

Yes, there are laws, especially since that image is tagged within Flickr as “All Rights Reserved” and “No Commercial Usage”. Oh well, guess Show Business didn’t read that part…
