We Did It!

1 hour and 30 minutes, 72 pages of dialog, two actors.

Opening night of All Aboard the Marriage Hearse went great!

It’s crazy to think that one week ago today we were still struggling with lines and wondering what we’d gotten ourselves into. I’ve never done a play with only myself and another actor/actress, so I’m very proud of the work involved. It’s a powerful feeling, knowing the whole play rests on just the two of you… if something goes wrong, it’s your fault. I’ve never really had nerves before a show, but yesterday I did… not about lines, or forgetting anything, but about the responsibility to the audience. Usually you’re sharing the responsibility with other people… not so in a two hander. If they aren’t entertained, it’s no one to blame but you.

Anyhow, the show seemed to go over well with the audience… they got all of the humor we saw in it and still stayed with us in the more serious moments. I’m very happy with the show we gave, and I’m looking forward to the rest of the run!

Yeah, me, in a play, only $15.

Be there or be square.

We’re BACK!

Angry Young Women

After rave reviews and sold out crowds, the hit show returns in July!

I’m playing the same roles as before (but with some different costuming)…

Pilots in NYC

Looks like television production in New York is getting ready to spike… we trail LA by thousands of programming hours, so this is an incredible opportunity for New York actors.

I forgot to mention this and post it: the cast of the show appeared on the Joey Reynolds Show a week or two ago… here’s the audio from the broadcast.

Coleman Photo/Graphix

Some of you may know, others may not… I am now working full time as a photographer and graphic artist!

I work with Dave Cross part time, and shoot my own work as well.

I’ve pursued photography as a serious hobby since I was a teenager, and it’s exciting to be able to make it my day job. I’m shooting headshots at a discounted rate for the next few months while I build my portfolio, so if you are looking for shots, give me a ring.

I’m also doing postcard and business card design, as well as web graphics and other design work.

This should allow me to have even more flexibility with my schedule, as well as letting me work for myself for a change. Check out my site (which is still in progress) and drop me a line with comments…

It must be Daylight Savings…

I don’t know why, but every year, right around this time, I start to feel… down. This is totally uncalled for, as things are actually pretty great for me right now. I just finished a second under five for As the World Turns in the last two weeks, I’m on hold for an Oxygen Network promo, and I’ve been spending more time with friends than ever before#–plus, my "day-job" stuff is on a good track too. When I try to think it through, I have nothing to complain about, and yet I feel blah. Weird stuff.

They say money can’t buy happiness, and I guess neither can success#–it’s all a state of mind, as City Wendy just recently pointed out in more eloquent language than I can muster. Maybe more Starbucks would help… I haven’t been in a week or two… maybe that’s it.

Check out As the World Turns on 11/28 and 12/6 to see me as a bumbling bellman. Check your local listings for the time…
